Bergmen Consulting is looking for a consultant specialized in data integration to help airline customers get the most out of their data. Within a project team, s/he will design and implement solutions to transform, integrate massive data from legacy and modern systems.

Responsibilities
  • Provide continuous insight and technical expertise on data-related projects.
  • Translate requirements into system architecture and design specifications.
  • Design and implement data models to support requirements and long-term vision.
  • Build data integration processes to transform unstructured and disparate source data into the target data stores, data warehouses or data marts.
  • Design and develop reports from various data sources.
  • Provide post-live support on databases and ETLs.
  • Assess technical feasibility of projects.
  • Contribute in writing proposal.
Requirements
  • 3-5 years of experience in SQL database development.
  • 3-5 years of experience developing ETLs leveraging SSIS, Informatica, stored procedures, or other popular tools.
  • Proficient in data modeling.
  • Proficient with Microsoft solutions (MS SQL Server, SSIS, SSAS, SSRS).
  • Familiar with MySQL, and open source solutions.
  • Proactively proposes solutions to technical issues.
  • Very positive and dynamic.
  • BA/BS in Computer Science or equivalent.

  • Work from anywhere in the US. We are in 2013 after all!
  • Must have valid work authorization/permit for the US.
  • 60-80% may be required.
